Honey Bees for Sale

We will have limited NUCs and Hives for sale in 2021.  However we will be more than happy to assist you with finding a source for quality bees.  We have seen and experienced a lot of poor quality NUCs and Hives sold to unsuspecting, inexperienced first time beekeepers  in Texas by supposedly reputable sources.  

The consequences are complete loss of your hive, introduction of disease, parasites and destructive moths, small hive beetles, etc to your apiary.   There are now hybrid honeybees with genetic qualities that make them less susceptible to varroa mites, and more hygienic with defensive attributes to rid the hive of other parasites.  In the future our PA Master Beekeeper will be working on a program to breed and offer offspring hybrid queen bees.   

We are not interested on making a profit on honeybee sales.  We are interested in promoting beekeeping.  There is a major investment of time and monies to set up even a few hives.  Our goal is to insure minimal risks with quality bees that will provide you with a positive bee keeping experience.  

We should have 100 Italian, and 50 Carniolan NUCs available early spring 2021.
